hmmmmmmm i was kinda wanting to experament with others tastes and seeing what suited me best, but sure i guess i dont care much about sugar content. I dont really have a great deal of experience makin em,my ingrediants tended to inc: caster sugar, self raising flour, margerine, chocolate. I'd especially like to know if anyone adds anything else specific.

Wow, you could add anything. Try butter instead of margarine, and you'll get much better flavor.

Your request is a bit too broad. Why don't you get a good baking book and play around with basic recipes until you get used to methods and types.
