Default Pics from the Dutch Oven Championship

Some pics from the World Championship cook-off. You had to win a sanctioned local contest to qualify. The contest was a three pot cookoff. You had to make a main dish, a bread and a dessert

Day 1
Day 2

Some good looking food, and some average looking food, but the cooking methods are fairly limited and all prep work must be done on site, no electrical aids.

I have to agree with Castiron. I saw this once on tv and was amazed really at what these people could accomplish with such limited methods. These are the people I would want to be stuck on an island with!

Wow! Those are the same dishes we made when we Dutch ovened back at the scout jamboree back in 19...........
