| I have Mastercook 6, yes I know, I am 3 upgrades behind, but I was wondering how easy it is to import all my recipes if I upgrade. Can I just drop in my "cookbooks" into the new program or do I have to import each recipe 1 by 1. I have hundreds of recipes in there and it would be a huge undertaking to have to import them all.

| This is why I left computerized cookbooks behind. They had some neat features, but for me, it was easier to keep what I wanted in a series of word processor files. Each file would be like a chapter in a cookbook, all beef dishes, or drinks, or breads and so on. No fussing with fields, no fussing with import/export, which format, delimiting files and so on. | When upgraded a few versions to MasterCook8, it quickly and easily pulled all my old recipes and cookbooks, including the ones I'd created, into the new version. I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck. |
