Default Opinions needed- Dutch Oven Size

Hello.
I was wondering what you think is a good dutch oven size.
After pining over the Le Creuset round French Ovens for a year, I finally bought a 5.5 qt.
I usually cook for two people but would also use it for four to six sometimes.
With the dutch oven, I like to cook Coq au Vin and other rangetop to oven recipes.
I love the looks of my 5.5 qt Le Creuset, but I'm wondering if the 7 qt. would be more practical. The former is 10 inches round, the latter is 12.
I got a great deal at the Le Creuset outlet store for the 5.5 qt. : $149 (this months sale item)
What do you think? Keep it, or return it for the 7 qt?

Thanks,
Joey

I have them both, but I wind up using the 5.5 a lot more often.

If you want to develop more upper-body strength, return it and get the 7-quart. But for cooking for two or four or six, the 5.5 should be just fine. Anyway, it is for me!

Two for two in favor.
That's what I was thinking too.
I just didn't want to fire it up until I was sure it was the right size.
Thanks for the replies.
I'll keep it.

Must register strong dissent here. If allowed one cooking vessel on my desert island, it would be a 7 q LC dutch oven. Main reason over the smaller one - more room for browning. One batch instead of two, two batches instead of three, etc. But heck - get both. After all, they're likely to outlast you.

What's there to cook on your desert island?
