Foie Gras ban???!!!!

I know many of you probably heard of this already, but I JUST found out right now. A ban on Foie Gras in Chicago and CA? AND Mass. and the rest of Ill. are considering it? My gawd! What has kind of power does "Big Pleasure" have over our government that foie gras is getting banned? I will go crazy if they touch my cigars or wines.

Yeah it is stupid. But oh well. PETA doesn't have the pockets or the power to go after the real culinary culprits like the chicken industry, so they latch onto a small, nitch market that doesn't have lobby and political power to oppose them.

I think it is a shame.
