Default Orlando Fl restaurants

Hi, I'll be going to Chef Notter's school in Sept for his sugar class. While there I'd really like to try some good restaurants (not necessarily expensive). Does anyone have any suggestions? I have an eclectic taste in foods and can appreciate the regional specialities.

I've been in disney of almost 6 years now, yet still have not explored much of downtown orlando dining spots. Having gone to disney since I was a kid, I can tell you that they have come a long way. Some of my favs are the California grill at the contempary (think I goofed the spelling on that one) hotel, great food all around especially the sushi, Boma's at animal kingdom lodge, one the nicest buffets I've seen and the creme de creme, Victoria and alberts at the grand floridian, if you feel like dropping $125 for five course dinner. Others outside disney are Dux at the Peabody hotel, Arthurs 27, at a hotel don't remember which, and Roy's, hawaiian pacific rim food, again not sure of location.
