Hey, I need some help from you guys. I got a hot date tonight and I told her I would cook her a nice dinner, the thing is, I can't cook!! ![]() Please, could someone give me some advice here? I need something that is simple to do, yet very tasty and looks really cool. Doesn't matter if the ingredients are expensive. What would you cook if you were in my situation?

Well, I guess it's too late for tonight... But do you have a BBQ? A wild Salmon Filet on the grill, an easy Caesar Salad, Crusty bread, with grilled asparagus, and fresh cut up nectarines, or peaches over ice cream, would wooo my heart! The salmon needs nothing special, just a little salt and pepper, on the grill... when salmon is firm, and you see white foamy juices coming out. Remove from grill.( should still be pink inside, don't overcook) Asparagus: Cut ends off, drizzle with Olive oil, and salt and pepper. Put on rack on grill and gill untill tender, turning occasionally. When done sprinkle with fresh grated Parmesan or Romano cheese , and serve. The salad is easy. Buy bagged Romaine, break into bite sized pieces, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese (shredded). Make croutons ahead: cut french bread into 3/4 inch squares, toss with olive oil, and Italian seasoning, and toast on oven for...15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionLY, UNTIL GOLDEN. SET ASIDE. ADD AT THE LAST MINUTE. DRESSING: BUY JOHNNY'S CAESER DRESSING, OR IN THE NW, TRY BLACK SWAN'S CAESAR IN THE PRODUCE/REFRIGERATED SECTION. BUY GOOD ICE CREAM AND GOOD, RIPE FRUIT! BUY A NEW ZEALAND SAUVINGION BLANC: KIM CRAWFORD, MONKEY BAY, NOBILIO, CLOUDY BAY, OR THE LIKE. yOU WILL SHINE, PROMISE! L ![]()

I agree the grill being the best way to go if you dont know "how to cook" For the good ice cream portion...Hagan Daaz Mayan Chocolate ice cream for dessert.. Two small scoops on a dessert plate, add a cinnomen stick for garnish.. She will love you forever.. Dave
