Default "The ultimate food" poll

Gosh, I haven't been on here in like forever. Too busy experimenting with new recipes, I guess. anyways, what is your all-time favorite dinner? I just want to know, because well, I'm curious. For example, this is mine-

The Ultimate Dinner: Grilled Shrimp Pasta with Zesty Cream Sauce, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Caesar Salad, Pork Stuffed Mushrooms, Hand-Squeezed Strawberry Lemonade, and Grilled Mango Sorbet for Dessert.

For me it's always the same. A starter of Pate de Campagne en gellee. Tournedos Rossini and for dessert Mousse au Choclat!

Yeah when you pair it with Tournedos Rossini, it sounds better than saying Chocolate Mousse!
Tournedos are just cuts of Filet Mignon, this recipe has it served with a slice of Fois Gras, a large crouton on the bottom and a black truffle/madeira demi glace. Rich as all get out and as classically french as you can get.

Even though I've never had it, I'm going to have to say Tournedos Rossini also. Wow, that sounds good.

Chrose, if you eat that every now and then at a restaurant, please tell my where, so I can plan a vacation around that meal. If you make it yourself, please invite me over, I'll wash your car, mow your lawn, and walk your dog.

I was going to say cioppino or bouillabaisse, but now I want that filet and fois gras combo with the truffle demi glace.

Kevin

Hey Musky, I wish I was in a position to go to a rest. that would make that every now and then! So instead, I'll make it myself. Usually once a year around the holidays. It's easy enough to get all the ingredients, besides my arteries can only take a meal like that once a year anyway! If you want something equally decadent (and costly) try Faison Souvaroff (if you do a search on Cheftalk, you'll see I've mentioned it ad nauseum) That dish I happen to know you can get at http://www.laubergechezfrancois.com/ a most phenomenal restaurant!
