| I have been looking at appetizer recipies & lots of them call for "mince". Beef, chicken or lamb depending on the recipe. Are they just asking for a ground version of the meat, or is there something different about it that makes it "mince?" Also, anyone every hear of "rocket" It appears to be a leafy green of some kind... thanks for the help |

| Aha! you've been looking at British recipes! Mince is ground meat: beef mince is ground beef, etc. Rocket is arugula.

| thank you. Arugala I have a least heard of! (haven't used much, it is green after all, rather than chocolate). Glad to hear about the minced stuff too. I was a little suspicious, but if it wasn't I was afraid I was going to have to search all over for wierd mince recipies. I have a meat grinder. Now on to my pate questions, but I'll make that a separate post, thank you again. |
