| A beverage my wife loves from her childhood in Iceland. In Icelandic it's known as "malt extrakt" or just "malt", made by the Egils company. It's available mail order from a site like www.nammi.is, but shipping 500 ml. cans across the Atlantic gets ridiculously pricey- try almost $80 in postage for a $5 6-pack. I reckon it's got to be available somewhere else or in some other form from an easier source. Ideas, anyone? |
