| Good luck with your brined bird, Jesse. I won't be cooking, but my brother will: prime rib and, no doubt, some very innovative sides. He's doctor who used to use his days off to cook instead of going to the golf course... Tonight is night #2 of Chanukah I'll be making a very small batch of latkes since we're going to Florida tomorrow. I could eat 5 pounds' worth myself! Pass the sour cream.... ![]() |

| I think it'll be the standing rib beef roast, crusted with cumin and fresh horseradich, seared and smoke-roasted over hickory... gorgonzola and roasted garlic mashed potatoes caramelized roasted carrots shaved fennel salad with feta and honey quick-pickled Vidalias in lime juice and cilantro sing with me now: "These are a few of my favorite things..." |
