Talking Food/Ingredient Substitutions

There seem to be many inquires concerning food/ingredient substitutions.

Before posting your question see if it isn't already referred to here, I highly recommend checking out this site if you haven't already.

Foodsubs.com

It is the most comprehensive web site I've found regarding this subject including tropical fruits and ethnic ingredients. There are very few things I have not been able to find here.

If you want to search for sour milk, put those words in quotations by typing: "sour milk", that way you won't get pages that just say sour, or milk on them but includes the phrase.

If you haven't been there, check it out and see what you think, I hope you find it helpful.

Thanks, the site is fantastic. I had problems with finding half and half and corn syrup here in Malta. I have some american recipes but I cannot find the ingredients in Europe.
