Post Quick update on my cooking project

Thought I'd post the results here..
Today was the big day and thanks to all of you Cape I owe you one I pulled it off.
I did exactly what you said and my plate and presentation were fabulous.
I actually won the price of the day.
for presentation, flavor and leadership.
My boring method: POACHING actually looked better than all the others.
Iam proud to say that it's because all of your help that i was able to pull it off.
Cape chef you were right there with me.
My roulade was very full eventhough I put in just a small bit of each item.
It was a great hit.
Thank you all.
Danielle
Iam going into my 5th week with an A average and 2 weeks to go.
almost all competencies completed.
P.S. My chef asked if I could come in on Sunday to help him prepare fora banquet too.

Danielle,

I am very proud of you!!!
You did it on your own, I merely made some suggestions...This is pretty cool that we get to be part of the growth of student.
I look forward to the opportunity in the future,as well as others to help in any way I can

Good job D. See the cream really rises to the top. As to your other topic about the pain in the butt class mates. If you do the right thing and maintain your standards, the chef/your boss will see.

It's great to see a chef bloom before our eyes! I'm learning a LOT from you, Danielle, and rooting for you, too. Why isn't there a 'proud' face among the smilies??
