 Veal Sweetbreads Source Where can I find veal sweetbreads in the Boston area? I live in Portland, Maine and they are not offered by any slaughterhouse, market or provisioner I can find.   |

| Hi Mongo, and welcome to cheftalk. I am not sure about Boston,I live in CT and buy mine through Masters and Debragga in New York.I think if you ask one of the area butchers to order you some you may be in luck. Also if you do a search on the cover page of cheftalk under "Sweetbreads" you will find a great link on the proper way of prepping and preparing sweetbreads. cc

| Try John Dewar Co. in Boston and Newton Centre. Or try Kinneally Packing (or whatever) in Boston. I work just outside of Boston and we buy from these two companies and they are very high-end and have everything. The best sweetbread recipe is here... Chef Jean Pierre Louis Martin's sweetbreads
