calling all chefs

Greetings,

While this might appear at first to be a recipe request, it isn't. I've already posted that on the recipe request page. What I'm hoping to do here is to find a chef who may have studied with Madeleine Kamman, and knows where to contact her. I have been searching high and low to try to locate a favorite recipe of hers from her pbs show of the late 80's, to no avail (and I'm one **** of a researcher). I somehow lost it in my last move. I have paged through all her books, looked her up on all my favorite search engines..you name it. Nada! The recipe was for a salad of perfectly balanced proportions and flavors (typical Kamman) of brown rice cooked in chicken broth, shrimp, blanched broccoli florets and almonds, dressed in a shallot vinaigrette. I can't even find an email address for her since she left the Beringer Vinyard. Can anyone help?

I studied with madeleine at Berigers in 1990.

It was the best culinary expereance of my life. I will try to do some research in regards to your recipe you are looking for.
