| If you want cookbooks by women chefs, there are lots. If you want reference materials, a good book to start with is "A woman's Place is in the Kitchen" by Ann Cooper (Van Nostrand Reinhold, New York, 1998). There's also a book that combines both recipes and profiles of chefs: it is Women of Taste by Beverly Russell (John Wiley, New York, 1997). You might try accessing the website of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs at: http://www.chefnet.com/wcr (sorry, I don't know how to make this a link). What type of research are you doing. anyway?
