Default Something needed

Iam trying to find something to spice up a dish. It just seems to be too bland. The recipe is as follows

1 pkg (20 oz) three cheese tortellini
1 bag (1 lb) Sugar Snap Stir-Fry
1 jar (16 oz) creamy Alfredo sauce

we were thinking about adding salt and pepper, maybe some italian seasoning.
just looking for any ideas at all, any thought would be much appreciated.

Well with package ingredients there's not much to work with.

Stick with the frozen tortellini

Buy and prep your own fresh vegies. It will be cheaper and taste better.

Alfredo sauce is fairly simple if you pay attention to what' happening in the pan and make your own.

Using fresh ingredients and working with them instead of jars and packages will make the most difference.

Phil

Definitely lots of fresh ground black peppercorns, sprinkle of sea salt if you have it - adds a nice crunch. Just a touch of grated lemon rind over the top just before serving, and some chopped cilantro

I personally like thyme in my alfredo.
