| I gotta go with phatch on this one. I've never been lucky enough to have a truffle, or even know what it tastes like. Learn something new everyday I guess. |

| Interesting article, but I wonder what research he did to be able to say "...the quality of oils didn't vary from year to year like the natural ingredients." We used black truffle oil from D'Artagnan at Dufour Pastry Kitchens, and could smell a definite difference in the strength of the oil from time to time.
