Default Adding ripple to ice cream?

I would like to add a fruit puree or a coffee / toffee type syrup to vanilla ice cream to create a ripple effect.

What is the best way of doing this in order to end up with a uniform scoop for each serving.

If it is of help I am using a Gaggia Gelatiera all in one ice cream machine.

Cool

drizzle in you "ripple" in at the end and freeze.
or while putting ice cream into container for final storage, drizzle in you "ripple" layer by layer.
