Like Water for Chocolate is my favorite!
I also like when Meg Ryan is feeding Nicholas Cage when he becomes a human in City of Angels.

9 1/2 weeks in the kitchen, yes.
What about City of Angels when Meg Ryan is asked to describe how a pear tastes...
that really got me. Still does now that I'm sitting here thinking about it.

Mad

The mirror has two faces.

It's not a "food movie", however I found the food scenes with Rose Morgan (Barbra Streisand) quite funny. She had a "system" not only for eating the food but for ordering it as well!

Mad

I loved any and all food scenes in the Godfather movies. I also loved Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. Going back...the mushroom??? that Alice ate in Alice In Wonderland totally fascinated me all of my life And the tea party with that insane Mad Hatter! Enough to give me nightmares forever!
Then there is the witch that fattens and eats children in the Hansel and Gretel story, as well as the wicked step-mother who forced the father to dump the kids in the woods. We can't forget the basket of goodies that Little Red Riding Hood was delivering to her grandmother's house. Food, food, everywhere...from the cradle to the grave What was YOUR favorite nightmare children's movie or story?

What was that one, "forget the money, get the cannolis?" That was Clemenza

I learned how to make spaghetti sauce from the godfather. Remember the scene where they're all bunkered down during the war? Once again Clemenza, this time teaching Michael how to make sauce. I love that movie!

One not mentioned here, but I think in another thread, took place in a three star joint in France, the hero was an ex-Navy cook who fell in love with the irascible chef's daughter..saw it in the last year, but disremember the name.
