Default Half and Half

Hi I was going to make ice cream with half and half. But I don't have any right now. I was looking at a half and half substitute

7/8 cup milk
7/8 tablespoon melted butter, cooled
1. Mix well and use in place of Half and Half.


And was wondering if it would work in an ice cream recipe. If so how would I go about incorporating it? Thanks

What type of milk are you taking (whole, 2%, skim)?
how did you obtain this calculation?

There is a half and half recipie substitution,I have mine somewhere but yours sounds ok.The substitution is only for baking or cooking not for ice cream. No one needs ice cream that bad..lol..and I'm a ice cream junkie ...good ice cream making...cookie By the way, Luc H, any milk can be used,just emulsify it in a blender...cookie
