Default spanish most famous foods

Am a naw guy in spain and actually have no idea about spanish cooking.can someone suggest the menues that will be ideal in mardrid

The recipes seem pretty straightforward, typically Spanish and have pictures of the finished dish.

I love Tortilla (Spanish omelette). Great warm or at room temperature. I use this recipe but saute some garlic and bell pepper before adding to the mix.Don't be put off by the type of potato, any will do. On a side note this website is excellent!
