Default Backyard Discovery

The gardener guy came by today to weed and clean the backyard of undergrowth. I can now walk around back there. Well, further exploration is needed as I went out to look around while wearing sandals, but here's what I've discovered thus far:

An orange tree that's bearing halfway decent fruit - juicy, fairly flavorful, and certainly good enough to eat or use for cooking or making juice. I ate two big uns!

An apple tree thats bearing some good looking fruit, but far enough out of reach that I couldn't get a taste or determine what type of apples.

An apricot tree with the sorriest looking 'cots, although they tasted pretty good. Afwul texture though - maybe they're not 'cots.

There are blackberries galore out there, but I couldn't get to them. I'll go out tomorrow while wearing shoes, and see what else is back there along the far edge of the property.

You can imagine how overgrown the yard was if I didn't even know all these trees were back there

Shel

Wow!
Lucky Lucky Lucky You!
What I wouldn't give for some fruit trees in the yard.

Maybe with more space and a little nurture the 'cots will improve.

Best luck
