Default Terrific Cornmeal Pizza Crust - Vicolo Brand

I've been purchasing the undressed cornmeal crusts from Vicolo (Whole Foods) for a couple months and these are the best store bought crusts I have ever had. You can make them cheaper, but they are price reasonable so they come in handy when you need a quick delicious crust.

Today I'm lucky enough to be working on a stage that has a small kitchen and I prepared 6 pies using this crust. They were gobbled up in minutes by the crew. Very tasty and very hearty, with no prep time or mess for the dough! Try it out.

I'm not making the crust, I purchase them. The link to the company is in my first post.

Yes, I see where you are coming from. I was just generalizing since most retail items typically cost more than making it fresh.

Vicolo restaurant/pizzeria has garned very good reviews for years. Although I've not had their crusts (didn't know about them), it doesn't surprise me that they'd be pretty good as well.

I'm going to check out their ingredients and perhaps buy a few to try.

Thanks for posting the info ...

Shel
