I'm probably not supposed to like that sort of stuff -- but I do! Although I find that it tastes more of red bell pepper than any other vegetable. It makes a nice snack on soda crackers (I buy the Saltines without the salt on top). I wouldn't try to cook with it, though.

I have and can't stand it. However, to put that comment in perspective, I dislike all Philly cream cheese. I used to think it was good stuff, "the best," but after trying several other brands that are made without the extra fillers, stabilizers, preservatives, and whatever all else goes into Philly (and other brands) I have found cream cheese nirvana.

Nothing but natural cream cheese for me these days. I realize it may be hard, or even impossible, to find such cheeses everywhere, but I urge everyone to at least look for therm.

Hey don't worry to much suzanne it actually has 25% less saturated fat than butter. I like your idea of using it with soda crackers for sure!
