Default Where can I get ring molds?

Where can I get ring molds?

I found some for mousse, but I wanted some bigger and smaller. Do they go by a different name?

Why are they so hard to find online?

You're more likely to find them available from pastry and baking supply houses than from kitchenware and restaurant supply places. At least that's been my experience.

If you don't hear from others sooner I'll go through my catalogs and get back to you.

Keep in mind that they don't come cheap. And are often in sets of the same size. So for the home kitchen they may not be economical.

One alternative: For things not requiring cooking, PVC pipe, in various diameters, can be cut down to the appropriate height.

I get mine from www.jbprince.com/

They have a great selection of cooking products but have a tendancy to be pricey. They are also dangerous for a wish list
