Default Food Network News

“Our audience has expanded exponentially from the early days of the network,” Tuschman says. “Until six years ago, we were largely focusing on people who were passionate about cooking and food. We are more a general-entertainment network now.”

"We are more a general-entertainment network now.”

... kind of goes without saying, right?

It just makes me happier to not have cable and get even more diluted programming (which means advertising over content)

I saw the Food Network cookware at Kohl's recently (which is in Menomonee Falls- not Milwaukee, by the way). It looks good; seems to have many of the good things All-Clad has.

I just hope they expand their talent pool so we don't have so many good people (DeLaurentiis included) so very over-exposed that they lose us completely. Maybe they can find enough good people to be able to end shows like "Unwrapped". A girl can hope!

Pretty much mirrors my sentiments. Unwrapped is such a bullsh!t show. It looks like we're going to get a new Iron Chef, so, imo, that's a step in the right direction. I was sorry to see Traci Des Jardins lose last night, in part because she's a "hometown girl" and in part because her food is so good. If you ever come to the Bay Area, do sample her food.
