| | Tasty Item at Trader Joe's Yesterday I stopped at the local TJ's and discovered what seems to be a new item in the dairy case. It was next to the Fage Greek Yogurt and the TJ's Greek yogurt. I was compelled to try it. Deee-licious. It's pretty much labneh, and will lend itself to some tasty treats. If you like such things, you might want to give it a try.

| | I LOVE the fat-free Fage. The small containers are 80 calories for a bit above five ounces.

| | Yep, the Fage is good stuff. There are now three great (imo) yogurt choices at TJ's - the Fage varieties, TJ's Greek Style (similar to Fage, much lower price), and now this new yogurt. Sometimes TJ's gets it right

| | Fage is so expensive here! About $5.50 per carton here. I think it's a pint if memory serves correct.
Whole Foods is so far away but I love their White Mountain Yogurt. Am having to get either Horizon or Dannon right now cuz of lack of choices. Wish we had a TJs here in North Houston! |

Don't recall seeing it at WF here ... thanks for mentioning it. (time passes) After checking the White Mountain site I found that the yogurt isn't sold in Northern California. It would have been nice to give it a try. I really like the idea that it's sold in glass jars.

| | there's also a new Euro yogurt at TJ's.
Fage, nothing better......got some on sale $198 for large ones when they were a week shy of expiration, they lasted 2 weeks after exp. bought 6.
Makes great cuke sauce for dolmas.
TJ's has a new puff pastry line....choc croissants, puff sheets.....really good croissants but they need 9 hours to rise, so prior planning is a must. |

| | I like unflavored yogurt and it makes an excellent subsitution for sour cream in fajitas. Other than that, yogurt seems a bit too sweet for me. Has anyone found a fairly unsweet yogurt that still has good flavor? |

Shel | I believe it is thicker... Greek style. Runny yogurt is American, to me. |
