Default Bacon Salt

A friend sent this to me this morning.
A new product ... I've not tried it, nor
have I any affiliation with the company -
just passing along the info ....

www.baconsalt.com

"Bacon salt is a zero calorie,
vegetarian, kosher certified
seasoning salt that makes
everything taste like real bacon"

--- From the web site

This product is made similarly to artificial bacon bits.

the flavour is autolyzed yeast extract and/or hydrolyzed vegetable protein, salt and with smoke flavour.

actually very easy to do with the right industrial ingredient combo.

I worked for company that made a vegetarian/halal/kosher ham flavour that when added to tofu taste like ham patι.
