| Yeah-got one last Christmas. It has positives and negatives. I tend to keep pots of herbs out on the patio anyway. So that's often easier than having this big carbuncle on the kitchen counter. However, some stuff grows really well-Basil, for openers. I keep cutting the basil back, and it keeps growing like a weed. Not so much luck with the parsley, thyme, and oregano. Having to buy their seed kits is a bit annoying, doesn't take long before you start mixing and matching seedpods from various kits, which can get expensive if you don't have friends keep buying you kits because they think you like them. I had good luck with the Italian herb kit and the French herb kit. I have the Japanese herb kit in the closet and haven't grown it yet, probably because I haven't the slightest idea what any of the plants actually are. I would shy away from the Rose and Petunia kits, if for no other reason than you'd have to be really hungry to eat them. ![]() |
