| Yes. But shrimp doesn't have a really long freezer life. And the flavor profile will shift. Generally spicy food gets spicier and loses some of the supporting flavor nuance. You'll probably want to touch up the flavor when you reheat it with some more garam masala or whatever spice (minus the heat) was in your recipe. |

| Prawn as a cooking term is usually used interchangeably with shrimp; most often for large shrimp. Prawn as a term is more popular in the UK; in the US shrimp is more popular. Technically prawns are different from shrimp in gill structure and that's about it. Phil |

| In my limited experiance, curry can continue to "cook" proteins, changing the texture. I have never tried to freeze a curry; but I have two types of curry salad that I make. If the dressing is on the meat more than an hour it starts to change the texture to mush, and becomes very unpleasant. |

| I have frozen curry perfectly well on many occasions. The only thing I have found with prawn curry after freezing is the fish flavour is exaggerated. Not always a bad thing!! ![]() |
