Wink Who ships seafood?

Does anyone know of a good company that ships seafood at reasonable prices? I don't mind frozen seafood for the most part, but out here in the middle of nowhere the stores tend to thaw frozen fish and shrimp and sell them as "fresh." If I'm going to buy frozen, I would rather it still be frozen when I buy it.

Check with a large grocery store in your area and if you like their seafood ask who flies it in. Denver assuredly serves your area, call restaurants there and find out who services them. You should have no problem getting fresh seafood if you pair your order with a restaurant in Denver. If you buy enough seafood the supplier will bend over backwards to service you, of course; that's my experience here in Albuquerque (I get supplies out of El Paso.)

Good luck.

Nancya, I'm going to assume you are buying for home use. That being the case, just make friends with the people in the seafood dep't. at the grocery store you frequent. Let them know that you would rather buy any product still frozen that they receive frozen. I'm sure they'll be willing to accomodate you.

Thanks Greg! Why did I never think of just asking them? The simplest solution really is the best.
