 Lake Erie Pickerel Have you ever tried a sweet whole lake erie pickerel, breaded with panko and deep fried. Unbelievable!  |

 It's more commonly known as walleye. I'm not quite brave enough to eat fish out of the Great lakes, though! Plenty to be found here in Minnesota and from Canada fished from less questionable water. Bob, another good breading to try with it is a brand called Shorelunch. I actually combine the two (panko and shorelunch) and pan-fry the pickerel.
