Many years ago I was a freshman at Indiana University, living in the Briscoe dorm at the far northeast corner of the campus. The food in the dorm was, for the most part, usually edible. I don't recall the circumstances, no doubt some sort of bet or dare was involved, but one evening was "steak" night. These blobs of beef, some unidentified cut, were not exactly tender. But egged on by my "friends" I managed to cut, chew and swallow *five* of these beef-flavored hockey pucks in one sitting. My jaw was so sore I could barely talk for days!

Yuck! I didn't realize cafeterias were included in this thread. How about: ANYTHING in my high school cafeteria? We have a pasta line with alfredo sauce as a choice... the sauce is gray, not white, and there is more oil floating on the top than there is gray cheese.

And our school's meatloaf? Don't even get me started.....

Default Pumpkin Pancakes

My friend made me pumpkin pancakes one time. Disgusting. He also used honey instead of maple syrup. Can't get much worse then that.
