| "Berry Bounce" - Mix 3 cups vodka or brandy with 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup sugar (depends on your taste, and how sweet the fruit is) in a mason jar. Screw on a lid, and shake vigorously. Add lightly crushed fruit to fill the jar, and let sit in a cool dark place for at least 2 months. Blackberry is our favorite, but almost any type of soft fruit will work.

| a mixed combo of red raspberries & sliced nectarines is my fav cheesecake topping. And on a hot summer day nothing beats an old fashioned bowl of plump blackberries or mulberries served simply with cream & sugar! Freeze smaller berries into ice cubes for water or lemoande.
