No Smile New fruit in north america

Here in Miami's supermarkets you're able to get the frozen pulp, not the whole fruit from South American fruits no yet approved in this country by the USDA in it's natural form. the frozen version is no problem whatsoever If you get the chance to try this one do it, it is called "LULO" try it.!!!

Thanks for the info, Mauricio. What does it taste like, and how is it used? Is it citrus or otherwise acidic? Any unusual properties?

I just looked up lulo on the web and it's a member of the tomato family. It has a pineapple-lemon flavour.

Thanks for the link, Rissa. It says it's part of the hightshade family; don't tomatoes belong to that line?
