Default Anybody else remember chocolate or butterscotch fruit roll ups?

I know I wasn't dreaming my mother did pack these in my lunch. and I know it had the fruit roll up brand name on the box. They made chocolate, butterscotch and some other wacky flavor of fruit roll up...they only had them for a couple of years in the early 90's though. I can't seem to find anybody else who actually remembers these things but I know they existed.

at any rate, they kinda sucked but the chocolate was alright...
anybody else remember these?

Oh My, I am sorry, but they sound pretty awful?? Was probably not in a place I would have run into them at that time; will be interesting to see if anyone has a positive memory?
Sorry,
Nan

Wink

yeh like i said...the butterscotch was absolutely putrid...bleh..
and i think they had a caramel too which i didnt like...and then there was chocolate..which like i said was pretty good and that's why i remember.
i know it completely defeats the concept of "fruit" roll up but...i'm on a mission..i will find some proof...

Yes! Finally! I thought I was the only one who remembered those! Actually, I don't remember any others other than chocolate, but it was good. Most people react to the thought in disgust but they weren't fruit and chocolate mixed, they were just chocolate roll ups made by the company Fruit Roll Ups. Also, what's so disgusting about chocolate/caramel/butterscotch mixed with fruit? Don't people do that already anyway?
