| I've been eating and cooking Chicago Italian for over fifty years (I'm polish) and have just discovered the wonderful "thing" called bruschetta. Where have I been!!?? Lots of recipies on web sites but where did it come from! Could become a staple of our lives! |

| Essentially, it's stale bread! toasted! typically Italian would be to load it up with tomatoes, basil, garlic or whatever you've got. |
