Is anyone interested in having and going to dinner party's, with two well traveled good cooks, who love to talk food? People in Southern Ca. only!

Good luck starting your dinner party group, Meg. I'm looking to start one in the Houston area myself. I've looked into it a bit & did you know there is even a book written on the subject? I have the URL about it *saved* somewhere but I have too many favorites to find it now. Sorry!

Foodie- Thank you for the info. I seem to live in an area where no one cook's! But I will keep an eye out for that book.

hey y'all we started a group of "progressive" dinner parties here-not all cooks or chefs, but some foodies & lovers of stoves too! we start at one house for apps & move on to the next for courses etc...fun for all & no pressure to perform for a crowd alone-try this if you can't find a group to go out with..
