wax off of fruit
I have read a couple of recipes that call for wax free lemon peel. How do I tell if the lemon has wax and if it dose how do I remove it.
Thanks
Tom

RE: wax off fruit
Pour boiling water over the fruit. The smell of the fruit should be stronger after that.

lemon---aid
2 ways
1. Pop in micro wave 30 seconds rhen wipe with clean paper towl, this method also makes for more juice when squeezed.
2, immerse in boiling water for 30 second then wipe with paper towl.
