Thanks for the thought, April. Unfortunately, our juniors have to work their own stand to be eligible to attend Prom at all. Interesting little situation, isn't it! I'm not saying ALL the juniors are filthy--just a few, but 'tis enough . . . So far, we've gotten through without any problems, but I just wanted to rant the other day--can't do that at school! It'll be okay--I know that. I have a lot of faith in my kids, but the grown-ups . . . now that's a story for another day. Suffice it to say that grown-ups always want to make things complicated!

LOL, Marzoli! I'm the senior class sponsor at my school and I always say that I don't worry when the kids act like kids, but I hate it when the adults act like kids! And they do it with an amazing regularity...

Default Sanitation Problems

I just got servesafe certified because of the MANDATORY sanitation course the ACF wants you to have to be certified.
In this class were several second year apprentices from a faily well known hotel and not a single one of the got an A in the course. The only 2 who did were older (me 32 and another women about the same age as me) and have been in food service for years.

At work all of my line cooks wash hands regulary, but the busboys are just the most lazy bunch I HAVE EVER WORKED with yet.It is like pulling teeth to get them to do anything right. I keep telling them if it was my Restaurant, you would be gone in a heartbeat.

Sadly the 2 managers are busy trying to leave early and see who can drink more beer while on duty than worry about anything else. Thank god I only have untill april till I can get certified and get out of the place.

Billy
