Default Is it possible to make German pancakes with just egg whites?

Is it possible to make German pancakes with just egg whites, instead of using the yokes too?

You could. Are you talking about potato pancakes? You would get a pancake that would be drier and somewhat thougher (think angel food cake texture, as opposed to a regular cake). Don't know why you're leaving the yolks out, but you could add some oil to compensate for the yolks and get a pancake close to normal.

Of course you can. But this is totally different if you compare it with egg yolk. But still you can. Good luck.
