Post The Valentines weekend

What is everyones plans for this weekend? Are you all working or are you lucky enough to be off this busy weekend? As for myself, I will be open and busy as every. It will be the first big night since New Years eve. I am even open Monday(I am usually closed).

I too will be working this weekend. The restaurant at which I work is just as busy as you. We too are open Monday (also closed). The only good thing is that we have a limited menu Thursday to Monday! We are also doing a very high end menu. Average cost per plate $60.00. My wife and I are going to celebrate on Tuesday, a day late just like any other holiday! Hope all goes well with everyone this weekend.

Sorry, guys. In my world of corporate dining, I am off. Therefore, we are planning a dinner for two at a little Italian haunt. Its also a wedding anniversary, so, for once, we get to celebrate on the actual holiday... not a day or two later. Sorry.

Good for you Jim, I am glad you are enjoying it. I am sure you worked long and hard to get where you are at. As for myself, I had a very succesful weekend. Alot of happy people. I am keeping my notes and prep lists from this weekend to use as a example for next year.

I had a very HUGE and successful weekend, including Monday, at my restaurant for V Day.
Would have liked to have the night off, but certainly wouldn't want to dine out. So< I'm happy celebrating the night after or the night before.

Thankfully, I survived the weekend as well. We ended up being 12% higher in sales compared to the previous year so it made for some fun. Especially when my strong back-up team has mondays & tuesdays off. Needless to say that I'm still recovering.......
