Costco is the cheapest, but you have to get like 12# of it. Sometimes they have coupons where you can get 2-for-1. I got a 5# tub at Walmart for $6.99 on sale the other day.

I bought a small tub of it at Bed Bath and Beyond for nominal $. It does work on old & new stains but sometimes it can leave a lighter discoloration on my carpets.

I've seen Oxyclean advertised all over the place - is it really all it's cracked up to be?

This is correctly spelled "Oxi Clean" unless there is a copycat version.

You can find reviews here and here.

It really works. I have dogs and, as some may know, pet stains can be difficult to remove. The OxiClean in combination with one of those super-absorbent cloths (also "As Seen on TV") work great. The OxiClean gets the stain and the cloth absorbs up the whole mess. I do have the light discolouration, but I thought it was just that the rest of my carpet was dirty.
