Thanks for the link, darv! One of the few things I miss from the time I spent in Detroit is Coney Islands! For the uninitiated, this is a hot dog on a bun, served with yellow mustard and chopped onions, and a reddish meat sauce that tastes sort of like chili but not quite, and sort of like curry but less so. I even ate them for breakfast.

I spent a looong winter in Detroit once.... about the only thing that made me happy were the Coney Islands we would consume after a night of drinking cherry brandy at Paychecks or St. Andrew's... Coney Islands are the ONLY things I miss about Detroit!!! Thanks for the memory Suzanne!
