| Wow! Thanks, Kimmie. Lunches like that might cut down on the alarming tendency kids have to dump their packed lunches and eat junk. As a matter of fact, I'm already thinking about my own back-to-school lunches. I bought a new insulated lunch bag and am on the lookout for low-carb lunch options. I'd be delighted to open my bag and find the filling for that wrap prepared as a sumptuous salad! In fact, a lot of what you posted could very well find its way into my lunch bag. Thanks for some yummy ideas, Kimmie! ![]()

| Welcome Mez. I've tried the Avocado Wrap and it's truly delightful! ![]() Edited to add: You could even stack it, like a club sandwich, and grill it on a ridged grill pan and call it "California Tortilla Club". Just add a couple of slices of smoked turkey and voilà!

| A question for those who love wraps: I have trouble with them, because the "wrap" itself usually tastes a bit undercooked to me. Do you know of a way to get around that? If I toast the wrap enough to make it palatable, will that make it too stiff to roll? Any suggestions? |

| I agree, Suzanne. Is the Armenian style flat bread any more palatable? Because of the pastiness, I prefer tortilla-based foods to be cooked (nuked or baked).
