Thumbs down Dont' eat that French Fry!!

F I N A L L Y! Some scary reasons not to each fried food. Scientists have found a clue to the chemical reaction that may cause potato chips, french fries and other fried or baked starchy foods to build up high levels of a possible cancer-causing substance.

please read: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...cancer_foods_1

Let the litigations begin....

You wish!

Seems like every few months there's another report of SOMETHING being a cancer-causing agent. I wonder if anybody much pays attention anymore. Especially when it's something that they love so much! Remember, charcoal-grilled burgers cause cancer, too.

I can't remember the last time I reacted to the news that something caused cancer or something else protected me from cancer...

....except for chocolate...I try to keep abreast of good rationalizations for eating chocolate.

My humble opinion? Nothing is "bad" for you in moderation. Everything has it's place and balance. Fries everyday? Probably a poor choice. Fries once in a while? Why not?

Uh-oh. More bad news of what's in the food of the giant fast-food corporations AND one more reason not to eat at fast-food places. I'd much rather make my own food from scratch at home.
