 Who invented the pan?? His name was Poele. it was around 1850. It revolutionized cooking. i cant remember his first name, nor the specific year it was invented. its killing me not to know... please help out.      |

 The wok existed long before that. AS did pots. The pan, in at least the form of the cast iron Dutch oven lid predates Poele too. Phil |
