| My wife wants me to do a dinner party for her and 20 friends and she would like me to do a Seafood Jambalaya, in the kitchen where I work Crawfish is a common item but I would'nt like to purchase a whole case of it, I only need five pounds I know there is some that come from China year round unlike the one from Louisiana which is seasonal, if anybody knows a online store where I can get it or if anyone reading this is familiar with Miami and knows any spots that I can get it from please let me know. Thank you! ![]() |

| I'd bet you have them in some of the canals and marshes. Go to a GOOD outdoors store. Tell them what you want and for very little in equipment you can go harvest what you need, even fairly quickly. They'll even tell you the best places. There will be probably be rules about it, but they should be simple. For example, here in UT you can catch however many you want for private use. It's mostly a matter of bait and a net. I don't think you even need a license. You can't transport them intact or live. So you take a bucket of ice, strip the tails and claws for the ice bucket. If you want to save the heads, you can. Most people cook them on the spot to save the transport hassles but you're not required to. Phil |

| In Florida, Wal-Mart sells crawfish, seasoned and boiled, for dirt cheap. Hubby frequently buys me a pound if he shops because he knows I love them.
