Default Thank you again to everyone

Well after negotiating and renegotiating, I decided not to take the job. It wasn't an easy decision, sort of. They were offering a nice financial package but it came down to that right now I have a cushy job that allows some freedom and vacation time that I would lose, but more importantly I had to be true to my feet!
Over the years, the cold hard concrete floors (Not all kitchens have mats!) the torn ligament in my foot, my old bad knees, etc. have taken their toll and the thought of standing for 8 hours a day was something I couldn't get out of my head!
But with everyones thoughts and suggestions I am going to actively pursue other avenues. There was a time I could go toe to toe with Cape Chef, and I need to get at least some of that spark back!
Maybe I can get a job at the Ball Park Hot Dog factory nahh I already moved out of Pa.

Chrose,
We're sure you made the right decision. Although I can't help but think that you are not as torn up as you make out to be. Well, I for one, will keep this in mind and let you know if I think of something that may suit you.
Lets see.
Something where you would not have to stand but a few hours a day.
Have total creative freedom.
Assume some responsibility.
Be challenged daily, but not difficult.
Have the time to research new things, CT,etc.
Have complete support of those under you.
Basically something easy and high paying.
SHUT UP!!!!Thats my job!!!

Well actually my ideal job would be lottery winner. I keep applying though perhaps not as often as I should. However if I do win I will sure to visit everyone (not share, just visit )
I would however host a very nice dinner party for all of us!!!

Better for your health in the long run, ch.

Who knew you were even considering getting back in?

You can work a couple hours a day for me, if you can stand the commute!

Mich, you have no........idea how much I would love to! We'll see what this weeks lottery brings. (Oh yeah, "you have to play to win", minor detail)

Glad you made the decision you did. I know I struggled many times with wanting to go back to working in a restaurant in some capacity, but lately my feet keep me from being able to stand to long.
